Motion Graphics

I am proficient in the use Adobe After Effects and many of the industry plugins developed for this platform. I use AE almost daily in the creation of eye-catching and eye-deceiving visual effects. Going beyond basic motion graphics, I work comfortably within AE’s 3D space using its many native effects, filters and advanced expressions. I have also mastered a variety of plugins including Red Giant’s Trapcode Suite (Shine, Particular, Form, Lux, Echospace, 3D Stroke, Sound Keys, Horizon and Starglow), Zaxwerks and others.

About this video. One of our web clients wanted an immersive and visually engaging home page experience. We pitched the idea of a full screen video to act as a backdrop to their home page content. I created this underwater scene in Adobe After Effects. The only two external elements are the photograph of the diver and the animated shark. Everything else--water, oil rig, lights, air hose, and bubbles--were created in AE using various effects and plugins. The home page can be viewed at www.cda.edu. Hide	About this video. Client needed a commercial that would promote his business and stand out from the crowd. I suggested this blend of cartoon caricature and full motion video. After selling the concept I wrote the lyrics for the song to the tune of 'Turkey in the Straw' and contracted a vendor to create the music bed. I shot backplates for each scene and hired an animator to create the character animations. I assembled all the elements in Adobe After Effects.
